The Henrico County Sheriff’s Office is overseen by the Department of Criminal Justice Services, which sets the standards by which we are trained. HCSO is nationally accredited through the American Correctional Association (ACA), as well as the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA standards, and Bureau of Justice Assistance for PREA standards. We work closely with the Virginia Department of Corrections to meet and exceed DOC expectations.
